Practical help, sized to the job
Most of what we do falls into the four areas below. A job might sit in one of them or run across a few. We shape it around whatever decision you’re facing rather than a set package. If you want a feel for who you’d be working with, here’s a little about the practice.
Strategy & direction
Where’s the business really at, where does the margin come from, and what are the few moves worth making next.
- Business review and health-check
- Where-to-next planning
- Pricing and margin sense-check
- Simple, fundable one-page plan
Leadership & team coaching
The people side of getting things done, for owners, managers and the team leaders coming up behind them.
- One-on-one coaching for owners and managers
- Handling difficult conversations
- Delegating so it actually sticks
- Building a manager who can run the day
Operations & systems
Tidy the workflow and put simple systems in place so the business stops living in your head and inbox.
- Mapping how work really flows
- Clear roles and responsibilities
- Simple checklists and processes
- Picking tools that fit, not more software for its own sake
Growth planning
Cost the next stage properly, whether it’s a hire, a site or a new line, and build a plan you can stand behind.
- Costing a hire, site or new offering
- Cash-flow and break-even modelling
- Case for a lender or partner
- A staged plan with real checkpoints
How we usually package it
You don’t need to know which service you want before you call; we’ll work that out together first, following the same simple process every time. As a rough guide, most jobs land in one of these shapes:
| Shape | Good for | Typical length |
|---|---|---|
| Focused review | Getting a clear, honest read on one area | 1–2 weeks |
| Plan on a page | Turning a decision into a set of actions | 2–3 weeks |
| Coaching block | Building a habit or skill over time | Fortnightly, 3–6 months |
| On-call adviser | A sounding board you can reach when it counts | Ongoing, month to month |
Every job starts with a free first conversation, and we agree a clear, fixed scope before any work begins. No open-ended meter running. Anything you share is kept confidential; see our privacy policy.
Not sure which one you need?
That’s normal, and working it out is our job rather than yours. Tell us what’s going on and we’ll point you at the smallest piece of work that’ll help. New here? The home page gives the quick overview.
