Who we are
Catalyst Ltd (“Catalyst”, “we”, “us”) is a business advisory practice based at Talisman Centre, 15 Talisman Drive, Katikati 3129, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles. What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and provide our services. That usually means your name, business name, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to tell us in a message or during our work together. If you email or call us, we keep a record of that correspondence.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a first conversation.
- To provide, and keep records of, advisory and coaching work you engage us for.
- To send information you’ve asked us for.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Sharing
We keep your information to ourselves except where it’s necessary to run the practice (for example, trusted providers who host our website or email, or our accountant) and where the law requires it. Any provider we use is expected to protect your information to the same standard we do.
Storage and security
Your information is stored securely and kept only as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet our legal obligations. We take reasonable steps to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and request that we correct it. Contact us and we’ll help. There’s normally no charge, and we’ll respond within 20 working days.
